Masala Chai or Masala Tea is one of the most loved beverage in India and even abroad. Whether it's morning or an evening snack-time, a cup of hot masala tea is a must to freshen up and energize the body.
Ingredients for Masala Chai : Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Star anise, Water, Tea leaves, Sugar, Milk.
Steps to make Masala Chai :
Roast the spices like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and star anise together in equal amounts in a pan.
Grind the roasted ingredients together to get a powder.
In a wok full of boiling water, put the ground mixture along with the other remaining ingredients.
Stir and bring it to simmer.
Serve hot along with some tea-time munchies.
